President Obama Affirm Support For South Korea

WASHINGTON (AFP) - U.S. President Barack Obama said Tuesday that U.S. support of South Korea's "unshakeable". Obama argued that in meeting key officials in security, defense and intelligence regarding the North Korean crisis.
Obama had a meeting at the White House that, after returning from a trip to Indiana.U.S. President had received information about the conflict that preceded Pyongyang's artillery attack against a South Korean island.
"The president reaffirmed the unwavering U.S. support on our ally, the Republic of Korea, and have discussed ways to promote peace and security on the Korean peninsula in the future," said a White House statement.
Obama is then scheduled to be called South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak to discuss the crisis.
The meeting included National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, their representatives and officials of foreign policy in Asia.
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Admiral Michael Mullen, chief of the joint chiefs, and his deputy, Gen. James Cartwright, also took part in the meeting.
U.S. Ambassador to UN Susan Rice joined the conversation via video.Daftar participants meeting together with a list of officials who are often called upon by President Barack Obama to discuss the development of Afghanistan.
