A number of Parties shootout slams North Korean and South Korean Military

Incheon - Related crossfire between the military of North Korea (North Korea) and South Korea (ROK), Tuesday (23/11) afternoon, South Korean President, Lee Myung Bak held an emergency security meeting. At the meeting, Lee Myung Bak said the attack could not be tolerated because of the number of civilians.
"We will conduct large-scale retaliation if North Korea makes more provocations," said Lee Myung Bak on Tuesday (23/11).
United States (U.S.), which has more than 28 thousand troops stationed in South Korea, condemned the attack. From Washington, White House secretary, Robert Gibbs asked North Korea to immediately stop the attack and threatened to help the defense of South Korea.
UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon also condemned the North's artillery attacks. He calls it as one of the worst incidents since the end of the Korean War in 1950 ago.Ban called for each side to exercise restraint and immediately advise all the problems can be solved by peaceful means.
According to South Korean army, the clash left two South Korean marines were killed and 15 civilians were injured. Residents who live on the island was also evacuated to a safer place.
